Day 1) 31st March – Arrive Nepal and spend the evening in a hotel in Kathmandu (KTM)

Day 2) 1st April - Fly to Pokhara Nepal's beautiful lakeside town under the Annurpurna range of the Himalayas. Drive to Nayapul, the start of the trek. The trek starts from the last road point and heads up through Bamboo forests and waterfalls into terraced farmland up to Tirkhedunga (1800m) which is around a 4 hour walk. Here we will spend the night in a Tea House.

Here we will stop for a lunch break and then walk gradually up to Ghorepani. You will have a fantastic panorama of the Annapurna's here. We will spend the evening in a tea house at Ghorepani.

Day 4) 3rd April - An early morning excursion to Poon Hill (3193 m), about an hour's climb, provides an even better, unobstructed view of the high Himalaya, we then walk to Tadapani. The trail climbs up, leaving the high mountain forests and entering a field of cane. We make some ups and downs to a vantage point that offers a brief view of the mountains. The trail then descends steeply to a stream before climbing again through forests to Tadapani, a clutter of hotels with a dramatic view at 2540m.

Day 5) 4th April - The trail descends steeply from Tadapani, through forests, a short and steep descent among rocks which leads us to a stream crossing, then the descent continues gently past other streams, finally leading out on a ridge towards Ghandrung. Ghandrung is a a huge Gurung village at 1940m, is the second-largest Gurung village in Nepal. From here you can get the views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchare. We spend the night in Ghandrung.

Day 8 & 9) 7th & 8th April - Drive to Chitwan National Park and stay in one of the best Jungle Lodges deep in the Royal National Park, surrounded with a complete contrast in scenery to the previous scenery found on the trek and the opportunity to see an abundance of wildlife from Royal Bengal tigers, crocodiles and rhinos, all from the back of an elephant, or even stalking some on foot. There is a well stocked bar, hearty continental & Nepalese food and plenty of time to relax.

Day 10) 9th April - Take an early morning elephant ride before breakfast and then catch a flight back to KTM and transferring straight to our Sukute Beach camp on the banks of the Bhoti Kosi river. Spend the evening at our camp relaxing, playing pool and volley ball and meeting your white-water rafting guides.

Day 11) 10th April - Raft the lower section of the Bhoti Kosi River.  We will drive up stream and raft a classic big volume section of class 3 + white water with some great scenery and big waves trains. We finish up on the sandy beach at the resort. After lunch you can chill by the pool or have a go in our duckies. Spend the evening at the river side beach camp.

Day 12) 11th April - Today we head further up the road towards Tibet to the Bhote Kosi River. Described as one of the best one day rafting trips in the world, the nonstop, roller coaster ride is a step up from the first day. This class 4 (4+) run rally is a climax to any rafting experience and requires some good team work and determination. After lunch and time to talk of the morning's accomplishments the transport heads back to Kathmandu, arriving early evening back in the capital.
