Gerry Moffatt - Gerry Moffatt first arrived in Nepal on a British kayaking expedition in 1983 at the age of eighteen. Over the next twenty years he became the first man to descend all the major rivers in the Nepalese Himalayas. Currently he serves as the white water consultant to the Kingdom of Bhutan. National Geographic regard him as “the most experienced river guide in the Himalayas.” Throughout his career, Gerry has spent a considerable amount of time working in the field of adventure documentary production. He has summated Mt. Everest on two occasions for film productions. In June 2006 he climbed via Tibet's north face as the behind the scenes Television Presenter for the epic motion picture ”The Wildest Dream”, which retraces the life of George Mallory and the tragic 1924 Everest Expedition. More recently, in May 2009, as Head of Film Production for Eddie Bauer’s “Return to Everest Expedition”, he summated Mount Everest from the Nepalese south side. His experience in the world of adventure is derived from a lifetime of expeditioning, instructing and guiding skill based outdoor pursuits.
